Festival Ladies is a non-profit making Expatriate Ladies Community Group which has been formed to, support, encourage and motivate ladies living in the Dubai Festival City area.
We meet every two weeks at Costa Coffee, Festival Square, at 10.30am where we chat to our friends, meet and welcome new ladies to the area. We try and undertake at least one additional function a month, usually in the form of a cultural activity, a talk by various people on a variety of topics or simply a high tea or luncheon which gives an excuse to try and test new hotels/restaurants/establishments etc.
We have groups of ladies who ‘walk the mall’ 3 times a week, do Thai Chi, and Pilates. There is also a book club which meets approximately every 6 weeks and some ladies play Mahjong every Thursday. We try and keep our bodies fit as well as our minds!
Our main purpose, however, is to befriend and support one another as expats especially during these trying times. All nationalities are very welcome to come along.
Our last meeting for April is the 30th and our dates for May will be 14th and 28th.
