Time: 10am to 10pm
All Fringe events will be held on the Festival Square in Festival Centre on Friday and Saturday from 10a.m. onwards.
Students from schools and universities across the region including, on Friday 12th March, the Institute of Applied Technology, GEMS Royal Dubai, Deira International School, Jumeirah English Speaking School and The American University of Dubai will take to the stage to showcase their talent.
On the Saturday performers from Dubai College, the Universal American School, the American School of Dubai, Uptown High and Jumeirah College will take to the stage. Chamber music from Repton School will end the evening.
In addition to school performances we are delighted that a growing number of local dance troupes have chosen to participate including Indian, Irish and Sri Lankan dance troupes and drummers and a range of performances by the Ballet Centre.
This year, once again, local poets take to the stage outside on both Friday and Saturday evenings from 17:00-21:00 to perform atmospheric recitals of their poetry. |
